Offer you support or updates specific to your unique visible difference
Ensure the charity is advocating those in your situation
Send you a newsletter from time to time
Help plan the resource requirements for the visible difference charity in the future
Guide our fundraising campaigns
Inform you about surveys or research opportunities
Put you in touch with others in a similar situation if you consent to this
Non-identifiable data is collected for the purpose of charity reporting, funding, assessment of community engagement and areas of high resource need.

Providing some of this information is optional but it does really help guide the charity to do the most benefit. If you prefer, we can arrange to call you to collect this information over the phone – just send us an email.

We do not share your information with other organisations unless required to by law or specified in this privacy statement. You will be asked for your consent to have your information used outside the organisation.

We keep your information safe by storing it in a secure locations with access restricted to authorised Visible Difference Aotearoa staff.
